সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় বা ইনবক্সে আজকাল একটা প্রশ্ন খুব পাই— "ভাই, ওয়েব ডেভেলপমেন্ট শিখে ফ্রিল্যান্সিং শুরু করতে চাই, কোথা থেকে শুরু করব?
সত্যি বলতে, এখনকার ইন্টারনেটের যুগে শুধু টেক্সট কোডিং বা টেমপ্লেট কাস্টমাইজেশন জেনে মার্কেটপ্লেসে টিকে থাকা কঠিন। আপনাকে অন্তত JavaScript-এ স্ট্রং হতে হবে, সাথে একটা জনপ্রিয় ফ্রেমওয়ার্ক (যেমন React বা Vue) এবং ব্যাকএন্ডের মৌলিক ধারণা থাকতে হবে। তবে টেকনিক্যাল স্কিলের পাশাপাশি সবচেয়ে জরুরি হলো সমস্যা সমাধানের দক্ষতা এবং ক্লায়েন্টের সাথে সঠিক কমিউনিকেশন।
অনেক নতুন ফ্রিল্যান্সার মার্কেটপ্লেসে একটার পর একটা প্রোপোজাল পাঠিয়ে হতাশ হয়ে যান। কারণ তারা ক্লায়েন্টের আসল সমস্যা না বুঝে শুধু রেডিমেড কপি-পেস্ট কভার লেটার পাঠান। অথচ আপনি যদি ক্লায়েন্টের রিকোয়ারমেন্ট মনোযোগ দিয়ে পড়ে তার প্রজেক্টের একটা ছোট সমাধান বা সুস্পষ্ট পরামর্শ কভার লেটারে দিতে পারেন, তাহলে কাজ পাওয়ার সম্ভাবনা বহুগুণ বেড়ে যায়! 🚀

১. লিঙ্কডইন বা গুগলে গিয়ে নির্দিষ্ট দেশের ছোট ছোট বিজনেসের (যেমন: রিয়েল এস্টেট, ডেন্টাল ক্লিনিক, ই-কমার্স) ওয়েবসাইট খুঁজুন।
২. যে সাইটগুলোর স্পিড কম বা ডিজাইন বেশ পুরনো, সেগুলোর একটা ২ মিনিটের শর্ট ভিডিও স্ক্রিন রেকর্ড করে ক্লায়েন্টকে ফ্রিতে একটা সল্যুশন টিপস দিন।
৩. প্রফেশনাল ইমেইল বা মেসেজ দিয়ে জানান, কীভাবে তাদের ওয়েবসাইট নতুন করে সাজালে কাস্টমার দ্বিগুণ হবে।
বিশ্বাস করুন, ১০ টা ভালো ইমেইল পাঠালে অন্তত ২ জন আপনার মেসেজের রিপ্লাই দেবেই! এতে কাজের দামও পাবেন দ্বিগুণ, আর মার্কেটপ্লেসের কমিশন কাটারও ঝামেলা নেই। ✨
